"Ocean"

I gave this to my daughter because she lives near the ocean and this painting was inspired by the rhythmical movement of the waves as they come to shore and recess back. The curved erratic line that is formed in the sand and the impression it leaves as another wave takes its place overlapping and intersecting. The color palette is influenced by the different tones found in the sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico.
